A Righteous Life – Genesis 6:8-10

Is righteousness necessary? In this provocative sermon Pastor David considers the necessity and possibility of living a righteous life. We’re told that Noah was a righteous man who lived a blameless life. He obediently built the Ark and was saved from the flood, but was his obedience what saved him or did it only accompany his faith in the grace of God? Pastor David calls his hearers to consider carefully the role of righteousness, obedience and holiness in the Christian life in light of New Testament commands.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:9

Strive for… the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14

He bore our sins… that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. 1 Peter 2:24
