We all want to be protected. We desire a safe place, we seek shelter and God wants us to take refuge in Him. In this sermon on Psalm 46 Pastor David explains how God is a refuge for all who trust in Jesus Christ.
The background of Psalm 46 is probably God’s deliverance of Jerusalem from the Assyrians in the time of King Hezekiah. (2 Kings 18-19; 2 Chron 32; Isa 36-37) In the midst of a massive invasion God protected His people and defeated their enemies.
