Brookville First Baptist Church exist to bring Glory to God by Making Disciples of Christ. This is what we are all about. This statement includes both our purpose and our mission. In the sermon Pastor David gives us the biblical basis for these priorities in the life of our church.

Isaiah 43:6-7; 42:12; 1 Cor 10:31; Ps 96; 29:2; 1 Peter 2:9-10; 3:15; Matt 28:19-20, Act 1:8; Titus 2:1-8; 2 Cor 5:18-21

1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Peter 2:9–10 You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Matthew 28:19–20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

2 Corinthians 5:18–20 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
