That You May Believe – John 20:31
Why did John write his eye witness account of the life of Jesus? We don’t have to guess, because near the end of the book John actually answers the question for us. In this sermon Pastor David introduces the whole Book of John my noting the major themes of the book which are described in the purpose statement of chapter 20 verse 31.
These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that by believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31)
