The Gospel is good news for a lot of reasons. The death of Christ purchase for us numerous good gifts, but which is the greatest gift the gospel secures for us? Is it the forgiveness of sins? Is it eternal life? Is it justification? Is it that I don’t have to go to Hell? Is it that I get to go to Heaven? No, those things are all wonderful, but they’re not what ultimately makes the Good News good.
